Edge is not a sufficient alternative for reader. Does not smoothly incorporate touch screen experience. It is not as fast or as lightweight as reader. Hope that you guys do better with this transition. I always preferred launching pdfs in reader rather than a browser. I prefer the full screen design of reader, and how reader stores the last several pdfs you've opened.
Removing reader only decreases my productivity It's a light program, perfect for studying with multiple PDFs. It would be even better if we could allow users pdf reader for windows free download keep more than 5 files open at the top. I am a musician and I use this app to view my music without printing the music because that is a hassle. Needs a vertical two page scrolling and it would be perfect This used to be the best PDF reader in my opinion, lightweight and simple, with no frills.
The PDF feature in Microsoft's Edge browser seems like an afterthought at best, slower and less reliable than this dedicated app. I'm all for Microsoft building those capabilities into Edge, but it's a shame that they took away an app that worked perfectly fine, only to push users towards one that's not ready for prime time. This is the absolute best pdf app out there, no other comes close.
Please keep it alive! I tried several PDF readers on the store, each and everyone suggesting to be a superior PDF reader and half of them filled with advertising, the other half wont open PDF files properly, half the files will display broken. It will open any and all PDF files, fast, easy to work with. Don't look for any other app on the store.
